    The 'Topic Creation' Rules

    Post by Gig on Tue Nov 09, 2010 2:07 pm

    I know that they may suck, but hey, rules are made for a reason, so live with 'em.

    To start your own topic and keep it in the public eye you need to have the right structure. The correct structure to have is quite simple.

    Title of the Topic: Full name of beer

    Then in the Body you will need to have;
    1. The Name again in 'Huge' Writing. This means using the following BBCode.
      Code:
      [size=24]Beer Name[/size]
      It should look something like this;

      Beer Name

    2. A Picture of the Beer. Not very hard. Find an image on the internet, grab the URL from the address bar, and put it in the following BBCode.
      Code:
      [img]image url[/img]
      If you can't find an image, ask for help, one of the staff members or other users should be able to help you out.

    3. The Style. Again, not a difficult task. Google it, wiki it, do what ever you want to find it. The actual beer site should point you in the right direction. If you are not entirely sure, ask someone. You have a team of pissheads here to assist you.

    4. The Country of Origin. The best place to find this is at the actual site of the beer company. Most of the time they can even give you a more specific location.

    5. First Brew. One word... Google. It is your friend. Find out what year the first brew was actually made.

    6. Blood Alcohol Concentration. You can check the bottle for this. But again, the actual beer websites give them best information.

    7. Serving Temperature. This is not a must, but it is prefered. Just tell us what temperature you like to drink your beer.

    8. Information. This most definatly is a challenge and a half. Information is scattered everywhere through out the web. This is one of the main parts of this forum. We are trying to gather all the information, and put it into one central site. It doesn't need to be thorough because it will be added onto constantly. Just one or two Sentences will make it an acceptable post. Note: Information has to be 'Beer Specific'. This means no information to do with breweries or a related beer. This section can be left blank.

    Any topics that are missing something crucial will be given a week to get that information before it is removed. You will be warned and the week will commence as of the warning post's date. Note:
