Amstel is a very presentable beer. The bottle is unusual, and plain, yet not boring. The beer is a very light golden colour. The beer has a sweet smell but still has a full bodied flavour, which is unusual for a light beer. The aftertaste has a subtle crispness about it.

The Amstel is a quiet a pleasant beer to drink while relaxing. While it doesn’t have an exciting aroma, it goes down smoothly and doesn’t leave you cringing in the after taste. The bottle is plain and very simple with the labelling, however, the ring top pull is rather appealing.
